Catalina reached two milestones today:

-She reached her birth weight and is at 1730 grams (3 lbs 13 oz). All babies lose weight after birth, and it takes 10 to 12 days to gain it back.

-She breast-fed today for the first time, and did it like a pro with absolutely no learning curve. You would think she’s been breast feeding for months. They only gave her 10 minutes, and we had to pry her off because she was not wanting to stop. She has been bottle feeding, so it was an unknown whether she would be able to transition to the breast easily or not. She proved she is a versatile baby!
